Tandoori King was first estabilished in 2005, having served hungry customers for 20 years! 

Our name comes from the owner's nickname, often being called "Tandoori King", or "King of the Tandoor"  by friends, family, and customers alike. It stuck, and we've been rolling with it ever since. 

We take pride in dishing up authenic Indian flavours on the plates of the people of Timaru, offering a variety of different options, whether you're vegetarian, gluten-free or dairy-free.
